I've had Ethiopian food on my bucket list like forever, and I finally had the chance to try it. I came early for the AMC movie show next door and tried their assortment platter. Served on a huge round plate with a layer of fresh bread, I liked the chi-chi beans the best.

Recently visited their new location in the downtown bazaar, and same great food and quick service! I ordered the vegetarian combo which was delicious. Came out in just a few minutes as well. Highly recommend!

West Side Bizarre is a fantastic place to eat in Buffalo and with so many different options to choose from it can be a little overwhelming. One of the fantastic places inside is Abyssinia Ethiopian Cuisine! I came here in the early afternoon and like usual the place was pretty busy. After staring at the menu for way too long I finally settled on ordering (I apologize for not knowing the proper name) the chicken dish that was served with curry potatoes, veggies, and I believe honey noodles? It was noodles cooked in something, again, my bad for being an idiot. When the food was finished and finally consumed, it was absolutely fantastic! The chicken itself was very flavourful and delicious, the curry potatoes were unique, but tasted very very good, and the noodles were tasty as well. Everything on my plate tasted excellent together and I can't help but wonder what I missed out on not ordering a couple more dishes! Overall, you owe it to yourself to come to the West Side Bizarre and give this Ethiopian place a shot. This place makes fresh, tasty, and quality food that is deserving of its spot in the bizarre and I can't wait to come back!
