Awful service! Dont go. Food was fair but no need for heavy sauces on fish when the fish is fresh and cooked properly! The service was nothing short of awful! And what ever happened to asking if we enjoyed our meal or saying thank you? We had to literally beg for our check before they finally would bring it. Should have just walked out . Clearly showed them more respect than was given to us for our patronage. Overheard the table next to us complaining as well....

100 thumbs up to Acqua Restaurant in Merrick. I had my daughter's graduation party there last night in their private room upstairs that also has a huge balcony with beautiful views. They did an amazing job. The waitstaff did an excellent job and was very attentive. The food was excellent and plenty. We had the buffet style party. Everyone went up at at least twice and some went more lol. No one left hungry. They made accommodations at the very last minute because I forgot to mention that I had 2 family members that are vegans. They brought them 2 huge plates of eggplant and my guests said it was delicious also. I would highly recommend going to Acqua restaurant for a special occasion or just a great dinner with beautiful views.
