I had heard really good things about Acciuga, but unfortunately it was the worst meal I've had in Japan. I didn't see it on the menu and asked if they could make fettucini alfredo with chicken. The waitress asked the chef and she said it was no problem. I ordered and got chicken smothered in white sauce…no fettucini. The waitress said "The chef thought you only wanted chicken and sauce…". Okay, I'll wait. They redid it and brought out chicken on top of spaghetti instead of fettucini…alright fine, I'll just eat it because I'm starving hungry. The chicken didn't taste like chicken…it was more like bad duck meat or something. The best part? It came to the table with a 1" black hair on top! After a unemotional "sorry" they charged me over ¥1700 for that. Wow…just wow.
