We had a mixed experience at Acht. On the positive side, the complimentary bread and butter is absolutely amazing, and the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. However, the 3-course menu didn't quite hit the mark for the price point. The Halve Hahn Gnocchi lacked depth, and while the Kabeljau was tasty, it wasn't refined enough for a "5-star" recommendation. The cheese dessert was okay but could have been much bolder. Note: Unlike most spots in Cologne, this is not a dog-friendly establishment. Price per person: €100+ Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Hallo Vincent M., ich bedanke mich für ihre Google-Kritik, die wir als sehr konstruktiv empfunden haben. Es ist uns sehr schwer gefallen den Besuch mit Hunden nicht mehr zu erlauben. Letztlich sind es unangenehme Erfahrungen in der letzten Zeit gewesen, die uns zu diesem Schritt gezwungen haben. So hat ein Hund sein großes Geschäft vor unserer Eingangstür verrichtet und die nachfolgenden Gäste, haben den Hundekot mit ihren Schuhen im Restaurant verteilt. Ein anderer Hund war so groß, dass er an dem Essen anderer Gäste geschnuppert hat. Ein weiterer Hund wurde im Restaurant von der Leine gelassen und hat andere Gäste belästigt. Es ist sehr traurig, dass nun alle lieben und wohlerzogenen Hunde ebenfalls zu Hause bleiben müssen, aber aus Rücksicht auf unsere anderen Gäste, mußten wir diese Entscheidung leider so fällen.
