This place was recommended to us by the owner of a shop in the center of Cortona because it is among the three restaurants guaranteed and recommended by her. Expectations did not disappoint us because the place is very characteristic. The service was impeccable as was the menu we chose: a huge appetizer of crostini with pecorino and caramelized grapes, really excellent pici carbonara and asparagus, sliced meat with rosemary and fried potatoes... all washed down with the typical Cortona wine , the Sirah. The cost of dinner, considering the dishes we chose, was a pleasant surprise. If we return to Cortona this place will certainly be our chosen one. Ordered the ragu w meatballs and canolloni pasta to go based on recommendation from Evonne who owns the art studio next door. The food was excellent. The only reason for 4 star was bc the food potion was a little under-sized. Marco the Chef friendly and helpful. Just add a little more portion and upgrade to 5 star. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Food was fine. Service was the absolutely worst I have experienced my entire life. After pointing out a mistake in the serving, the chef got aggressive and told us to get the hell out of his restaurant. Paid for food we didn’t get. Rudeness all night.
