Trattoria Ada e Mario

Trattoria Ada e Mario is a traditional Roman restaurant located near the home of many locals. The owners are very friendly and it is usually necessary to book in advance as the restaurant is always busy. The menu offers classic Roman dishes, with some interesting surprises such as meatballs in sauce. Vegetables are cooked to perfection and seasoned just right. The pasta all'ortica was highly praised by my companions. Unfortunately, there are no vegan dishes except for the side dishes. Service is fast and staff is very cordial. Prices are absolutely reasonable. I tried the rigatoni alla norcina, trancio di salmone ai ferri and mushrooms. The pasta was cooked to perfection and had a delicate taste. The salmon was abundant and simply prepared but effective. Mushrooms were spicy and had a hint of lemon that made them even more delicious. I also appreciated the choice of whole wheat bread on the table. Presentation of the dishes was typical of a trattoria, as it should be! Great example of family management, showing great will and organizational skills in this difficult time! Cost with service and water was 12 euros. I will definitely go back.
