We got a recommendation from our accommodation to try this place, and honestly, it turned out to be one of the best meals we’ve had in Japan so far. For the price and portion size, it was unbelievable—and super tasty too! I had the chicken and egg rice, and my girlfriend had the salmon. We also got some extra side dishes, which made it even better. The yuzu sake was really good as well! I even posted a photo of my empty bowl—that says it all Definitely check this place out if you’re in Kyoto! Cozy dining area with delicious options, using local and fresh ingredients purchased at the kyoto market every morning! We went to adachi twice during our stay, the menu is large enough to have plenty of options, but not overwhelming. You can choose from a selection of entrees and the dish will come with the days sides (multiple veggie & fish options!) along with miso soup & rice!
