We had heard so many great things about this place, so we drove all the way from Burlington to give it a try. Since it came highly recommended by our friends, we arrived with high expectations. Overall, the food was good, but it didn't live up to the hype. I also felt that the food was significantly overpriced for what was served. When you're paying around $30 for a Mutton Kacchi, you expect an exceptional dish. The flavor was good, but the meat seemed to have been cooked separately and felt a bit dry, which took away from the experience. We also ordered the Roast Polao. The polao itself was excellent. It was light, aromatic, and not overly greasy. However, the roast was much sweeter than it usually is and didn't stand out in terms of flavor. The portion sizes were generous, which was a positive. However, generous portions alone didn't justify the high prices. Overall, it was an average dining experience. Given the cost and the glowing recommendations from friends, I expected a much more memorable meal. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–40 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

I’ve been going there for many years. I’m not sure what happened recently, but the food has degraded a lot. The last three times, we didn’t like any of their dishes, especially the beef tehari and fuska. The last two times, there was barely any meat in the tehari and the fuska was soggy. Today, I shared my experience and ordered tehari again, but I have no idea what they used differently. It was so heavily infused with rose water or kewra water that it wasn’t edible. I had to throw out most of it. Wasted a 1.5-hour drive and $22. I’m not coming back anymore. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 1

Visited ADDA Bengali Kitchen & Catering for the first time to try proper Bengali food, and it was a great experience. The food was excellent, especially the Beef Kala Bhuna, Mutton/Beef Kacchi Biryanis, and the tea. Everything was flavorful and well prepared. On top of that, the customer service was warm and welcoming. A great spot to experience authentic Bengali food, and I’ll definitely be back. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Hot Tea Desi Style, Mutton Kacchi Biryani, Beef Biryani, Khichuri and Kala Bhuna
