So surprised how quiet this place was !! Definitely a hidden gem and has the making of becoming a local special. The entrance itself is a little hidden with a set of stairs that takes you to the restaurant, but it adds to the charm and the mystique of the place. The seating area itself was decorated lovely! The food was excellent, we had yak momo dumplings and druk entrée (pork belly). We weren't too hungry, but the flavor was so good we almost wished we ate more. I would say that we came at an off time (3 pm), but the service was still warm and welcoming. I definitely recommend this if visiting Chinatown! Dietary restrictions: I don't eat beef and the server was able to offer vegetarian options for momo Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: CA$20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Momo

I went to Addah during the Dine Out Vancouver Festival. Addah offers a unique menu influenced by the Himalayan culture. I had ja ju, gyuma, thukpa, sanga bhaley, and bha cha. The food was very flavourful. Aside from being attentive and accommodating, the server was very informative when presenting the dishes at the table. I learned about the Himalayan culture and it felt like I had travelled to another part of the world. The ambience at the restaurant is very inviting, nice, and cozy! I recommend this restaurant to adventurous foodies. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We stopped in on this little gem for a date night. Incredible service, beautiful atmosphere, and expertly crafted offerings from the Himalayan regions. We enjoyed a creative kale and roast pineapple salad, mono dumplings, fermented tea soaked halibut steak and YAK! A yak T-bone steak with crispy spiced edges. A wholly satisfying experience and a real transition of the space formally occupied by the Emerald to incorporate light and texture.
