We were on holiday in Malta - Rabat- and while I was looking for a restaurant and I came across Adelina.
We know that when we Italians are abroad we are afraid of eating badly - and let's say that most of the time and so - but not here at Ristorante Adelina , run by Alfredo and his partner Victoria.
You enter the restaurant and you feel at home, the Italian hospitality of Alfredo - Sicilian doc - and the sweetness of Victoria.
Amazing dishes cared for, beautiful in aesthetics and taste. Excellent selection of doc foods, because the eye wants its part, but the taste is the master.
Your senses will all be put into play by Adelina and will come out satisfied, because eating Italian abroad is like being at home.
The platter (100 euros) was prepared using frozen seafood and overdone old fish fillets. I threw up twice after leaving the restaurant (no, I did not drink any alcohol before or during the meal)
To top it off, the service was absolutely disgusting, the hostess was the most insolent person I have ever had the misfortune of meeting – she told us to shut up and stop talking when we complained about the food – the cheek!
They even tried to overcharge us for food we did not eat, absolute lying, cheating, immoral thieves.
Adelina restaurant is the biggest disgrace to the Italian food industry in Europe. These people deserve to be charged with crimes against humanity.
