Good for a quick bite, plenty of vegetarian options including a platter with the four favourite vegetarian mains if you're struggling to choose.

Just a fish and chip shop but good value, friendly staff and fresh fish.

Really enjoyed visiting Adulis restaurant last week (despite later getting stranded at Wellington Airport on way back to Nelson because of cyclone Gita). The vegan platter for two was great and the staff really welcoming and friendly just like my daughter told me (she is a long-time Adulis fan). Have worked in Africa a couple of times in my life (Kenya and Botswana) and really miss it and the people I met in the countries I stayed in and visited there. East Africa been my favourite place in the world ever since falling in love with it as a sixteen year old when I visited each school holidays because my father lived and worked in Zambia back then. Long years later I lived in Norway but by best friend there was a guy called Zelalem from Ethiopia. Anyway, your "African Party Summer Jam" sounds wonderful - hope you have lots of drums and wish I was there for the dancing! Now my family and I find ourselves missing Adulis and Wellington too (aside from last Gita-affected day the weather was also amazing!). We'll be back someday and I should stop looking at your facebook page because it is making me hungry!
