You can not beat the view! The food was also delicious and enough booze to cause a karaoke contest on the drive home. Dave and Cindy are so friendly and super accommodating. Do yourself a favor and visit this place if you’re in the area!

What an amazing late afternoon/evening. Johnny picked us up from our hotel at 3:45pm and drove us up to adventure dining. The ride itself was an adventure already. Due to the heavy rainy season, the road was more of a 4x4 trail. Johnny stopped several times to show us Toucans and other birds. Upon arrival at adventure dining, we were promptly greeted by the perfect host: David. He chitchatted, took pictures and explained the evening to us. We were free to walk the amazing gardens and were asked to return to the entrance just before sunset. Our entire group was so stunned by the beauty of the place that we did not make it back until sunset. David led us down to were the actual restaurant was and his wife Cindy was awaiting us with more drinks and appetizers. Adventure dining actually has an open bar with plenty of liquors, wine and beer (and mixers). The appetizers were delicious and after those we were served a refreshing salad at our table. The main course consisted of shrimp, fish and filet, complimented by mashed potatoes and vegetables. The dessert was a yummy banana fosters. Throughout the night David and Cindy were the perfect hosts and one felt like family immediately. The view from adventure dining was stunning (its overlooking the largest waterfall in CR). This was a perfect evening and when we come back to CR, we are going again!
