원조 닭갈비 집이라는 대구맛집 애당 식당. 대구 여행 맛집 애당 닭갈비 닭석쇠숯불에서는 다양한 메뉴를 판매하고 있다. 하지만 이 곳의 인기메뉴는 닭석쇠숯불. 쉽게 이야기해서 닭갈비이다. 가정집 분위기의 식당으로 닭석쇠숯불을 주문하면 할머니가 직접 연탄불 석쇠에 매콤하게 양념이 된 닭불고기를 구워준다. 할머니 두 분이서 장사를 하는 음식점이었는데 지금도 그렇게 장사를 하고 있는 지는 모르겠다. 귀가 좀 안들리셔서 맥주를 주문하면 깍두기를 가져다주고 밥을 주문하면 멸치를 가져다 주시는 할머니들 . 숯불 닭갈비는 무척 매워서 술이 술술 들어간다. 가격도 적당해서 소주 한 잔 하기에 좋은 곳으로 요즘도 여전히 장사가 잘되는 지 궁금한 곳이다.
