This place is TOP , what a great concept all 100% Canadian lake fish directly from the fisherman totally sustainable. We enjoyed talking to Andy at the counter who explained everything in detail even though he was busy prepping for dinner; we hope to be back for dinner soon. Great place and Go ANDY!

High quality and attention to detail. Every aspect of the meal was put together with thought and love. The staff is very lovely too. This place is more for the experience though. The portions are pretty small. Came in for lunch and was able to get a spot for one. It quickly filled up though, so there's a chance you won't get a spot.

Had an incredible experience at Affinity Fish in Toronto. From the start, they were thoughtful and accommodating—especially when I had some potential travel delays, which immediately set the tone for the evening. I went with the Sakura tasting, and it was outstanding. Each course felt intentional and deeply seasonal, from the delicate Pacific albacore sashimi to the beautifully balanced sakura steamed trout with sake beurre blanc. The progression into heartier dishes like the swordfish zosui was seamless, and the sakura ice cream with matcha ganache was a perfect finish. What really stood out was the level of care in both sourcing and storytelling—this is clearly a team that takes pride in being true fishmongers, showcasing high-quality ingredients at their peak. The sake pairing elevated everything even further—thoughtful, precise, and genuinely enhancing each dish rather than just accompanying it. If you appreciate seasonal tasting menus and meticulous seafood preparation, Affinity Fish is something special. Easily one of the most memorable dining experiences I’ve had in Toronto.
