We enjoyed a delightful weekend retreat at the Fairmont Chateau Laurier in the heart of downtown Ottawa. The location is ideal for strolling to various local attractions and restaurants. The attentive and courteous staff, along with the helpful concierge desk, enhanced our experience. Valet Parking is available at $60 / day but if you’re hoping to park yourself it can be a bit tricky to get to and from your vehicle. While the main part of our hotel room was comfortable and spacious, the bathrooms were very small and there was no room in the fridge to put anything as it was stocked with beverages. The older rooms could benefit from some modernization. A big thank you to the entire staff for making our stay even more pleasant. Walkability: Fantastic location to many restaurants and attractions. Luxurious and full of history. Close to the political administration, it is a place steeped in history. The entrance to the establishment is breathtaking The attentive staff. The hotel is architecturally remarkable. Rooms: Spacious, well-equipped rooms. Bathrobe and slippers available. Normal we are in a 4*. Comfortable bed, The sound insulation may need to be reviewed. We hear the noise from the street. Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Luxury
