Nice and clean shop. "Barista" was friendly and tried to be helpful. I love coffee. Black drip coffee. I don't order dessert coffee drinks really. I'm willing to pay for a cup of excellent coffee as well. But when I pay nearly $5 for a small cup of drip coffee, I expect it to be hand made, fresh, from high quality beans in a coffee shop where the barista knows exactly when it was brewed (hopefully less than 30 minutes), where the beans came from, what kind of beans they are, where they were roasted, what level of roast, and can answer all other questions about the brew and the beans. In other words, a shop that charges those prices should be top tier. Not so at Agave. Unfortunately, they didn't know anything about the coffee. Not even how long it had been sitting. I don't mean to put down the young person working there. This is a reflection of ownership/management focus on quality. The coffee was ok, but would have been pretty good at $2. I'm sure plenty of people enjoy this shop.

Agave Coffee Shop is a hidden gem in Seguin that truly knows how to take care of its customers. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely interested in making sure I got exactly what I wanted. I especially appreciated how they took the time to customize my drink they made sure my coffee wasn’t too sweet and got the flavor just right, which can be hard to find. It didn’t feel rushed or generic; they really listened and adjusted it perfectly to my taste. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great spot to relax or catch up with friends. Between the quality of the coffee and the thoughtful service, Agave Coffee Shop definitely stands out. I’ll absolutely be coming back! Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
