A true 5-star experience, without hesitation. One of the most memorable meals we’ve had in five trips across Japan. Everything felt deeply sincere and carefully crafted. The chef was incredibly humble, attentive, and genuinely passionate about his work. Watching him cook right in front of us was almost therapeutic : calm, precise, and quietly mesmerizing. The food itself was exceptional. Every ingredient felt respected, perfectly balanced, and full of character. The vegetables were vibrant, the cooking flawless, and the overall experience felt both refined and deeply comforting. We left completely happy and grateful. A place we will remember for a very long time. Price per person: ¥7,000–8,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Dietary restrictions: Gluten free

We were very excited about the dinner but ended up disappointed. The salad and duck breast were delicious. The mussels were just okay, and unfortunately the steak was so chewy that we didn’t finish it. It’s expensive, so two stars, by far the worst value for money during our 11 day Japan trip. A hidden gem! Curry by day, haute cuisine by night. Stumbled upon Agri late at night. The chef showed us ingredients he had fresh from the market that day and asked us what we wanted. He then served us 3 amazing courses he came up with off the top of his head. The conversation with the chef and with the couple sitting next to us was great! We spent about 12500 yen, less than $100 for a meal that would be twice as much in the US. Price per person: ¥10,000+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
