We were recommended to go here by a friend as we were looking for good Italian food close to Gaithersburg. Unfortunately we weren't super impressed. The risotto balls appetizer was very good and the sauce with it was very tasty. But, besides this appetizer our food was very subpar. My boyfriend tried the mushroom gnocchi. There seemed to be no sauce and very little or no seasoning. I had the Chicken Florentine and the sauce was very watery. We sat at the bar and after we got our drink orders the bartender did not really pay attention to us whatsoever. There was only 2 other people sitting in the bar area but one of them was either an employee or a friend of the bartender so the bartender was attentive to her and her alone. We were unimpressed with the service. Because it took so long to get her attention for anything I didn't bother asking for something else or to get a refund, but we didn't plan on returning. Before posting this review I just noticed the restaurant is now closed. I'm not surprised!

So I paid another visit, and was rewarded with the level of customer service that I've become accustomed to at Agrodolce. I also appreciated that my previous review has been noticed, and I was asked about what happened. After relating my story, I received an apology, and assurances that the incident would not be repeated.
