Absolutely loved my experience at Aguanile. The food was packed with flavor, the cocktails were well-crafted, and the atmosphere felt welcoming and authentic. You can tell a lot of thought and passion went into creating the space. It’s more than just a place to eat and drink—it feels like a community gathering spot. I’ll definitely be back and would recommend it to anyone looking for something unique in Denver Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Food was so so awesome. Without a doubt some of the best PR food we’ve had outside of the island. Tostones were crispy and flavorful. Pernil was tender and delicious with great season. Skirt steak with green sofrito was so so awesome. Incredibly tender and flavorful. I think the habichuela were the best I’ve had. Music was awesome. Drinks were awesome. The place is on the smaller side which some may see as a downside but our family was more than comfortable. I can imagine on weekends it filling up which sounds like it would be a fun atmosphere. We’re visiting Denver just for the week but will definitely be back before we leave. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

You know you are going to taste good puertorican food when you can smell the food and here the music from around the corner. It’s hard to find places in Denver that are puertorican and can provide a good atmosphere. Aguanile from start to finish was hands down the best “Criollo” food I’ve had. The tostones were outstanding in texture and flavor, the mayo-ketchup it’s almost like a puertorican aioli. Next we have the Arroz con gandules y Pernil Mire Boricua! That was a dish that from the first bite it took me to “la casa de mi abuelita” on a breezy Christmas night, where the whole family gathered together listening to “mi burrito sabanero”. Truly this was a puertorican owned and cooked dish. Service was amazing, thank you to the staff that made us feel like we were talking to family, and shout out to the owner for the to go container full of that amazing “arroz con gandules”. Will it make it home unsure but I will try my best would come back and definitely recommend.
