The decoration adds a lot to the ambiance. It is specific to the Hispanic culture, especially Mexican. Frida Kahlo is the highlight here. Her portraits are present. There is some wisdom in the crowd so I went with the popular choice. The food is great. I had the Plato Ahora Pollo & Cinco de mayo. Usually in a drink, I see a lot of ice as a filler. It was not the case. There is an extra mini bar to choose for sauce & additional little sides. Thank god Ahora exists in Ottawa. The place is great. The food is tasty and fresh and very affordable. The vibe is kind of student funky meets O-towne sophistication. Paintings of Freda on the wall. I love Mexican food and I love Ahora. Kid-friendliness: Any kids would love it. Best Cheap Eats. Today I’m writing about a popular cheap eats restaurant in Ottawa, Ahora Mexican Restaurant!. Hubby and I decided to come to Ottawa for the night as a short Easter long weekend getaway. We decided to go for Mexican cuisine today because we haven’t had it in awhile, and man, it was a good choice!
