We regularly transit through Venice Marco Polo airport and usually go somewhere on the island to eat - incurring both the cost of transportation and somewhat inflated menu prices. This time we decided to stay in Tessera and were pleasantly surprised by Ai-Do Fogheri. Being on the sea, I highly recommend the mixed grill of fish. The portion was very generous - two could have shared the plate. The service was promot and efficient. The ambiance was traditional which is something I enjoy in Italy. They have a large outdoor dining area as well. Will definitely go there again - great value and more enjoyable than the throngs of people on the island. I've been in Venice for 15 days and this is possibly one of the best meals I've had in my stay, the Taglioni with mixed seafood is a must. Staff was super friendly and the food was just amazing.
