Some of their menu is written next to the counter, so I wasn't able to translate it via a translator. I would have loved to try those. Staff are nice and try to communicate with me using Japanese although I dont understand Japanese. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Fantastic izakaya! We had a great time even though we don’t speak Japanese - very local vibe with only a few seats at the counter. The owner was very helpful and accommodating and everyone at the bar helped us order. It was one of the highlights of our trip. We made a reservation a month or so in advance. We loved the bonito grilled on straw and were adventurous and ordered Shirako towards the end of our meal which was also delicious. I hope to come back next time I visit Japan. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ¥8,000–9,000
