Very disappointing experience at Al-Atbaq. I ordered the steamed goat leg, chickpea lentil, and chicken karahi. The chicken karahi was dry and cold, while the gravy was hot, and it didn’t taste anything like a traditional karahi. The steamed goat leg was also dry and didn’t seem freshly cooked, and the chickpea lentil lacked flavor. When I politely complained to the waiter, Mr. Zafar, and showed him the dry chicken pieces, he repeatedly insisted there was nothing wrong instead of acknowledging the issue. His attitude changed afterward, making the experience even more unpleasant. The flatbread was also extremely hard, almost like wood. When I pointed it out, I was told it was fresh and had become hard because of the air conditioning. I found this explanation difficult to accept, especially since fresh flatbread should remain soft when served. Good food can have an off day, but poor customer service and refusing to accept genuine feedback are much harder to overlook.
