Dishonest practices and a complete tourist trap. We asked the owner for a menu but never received one. We ordered one spritz and two glasses of what we are quite sure was watered-down white wine. Aperitif snacks were brought to the table even though we never asked for them, and none of the food seemed fresh. The worst part came when we asked for the bill. Instead of bringing us the actual bill, a young girl simply told us the total was €26. That seemed too high, so I asked to see the receipt. She appeared unhappy about the request but eventually brought a small receipt showing only a total amount — not an itemized bill. Strangely, the total on the receipt was now €23, three euros less than what she had verbally told us moments earlier. I again requested an itemized bill, but never received one. Instead, the owner came to the table and verbally explained the charges: €8 for the spritz, €6 for each glass of wine, and €3 for the aperitif snacks. Many places do not charge separately for these snacks, especially when they are brought without being requested. The main issue, however, was not even the prices — it was the dishonesty. No menu, no itemized bill, and an attempt to charge more before showing any receipt. It was an awful experience and honestly a shame for Naples. My advice: always ask to see the menu before ordering, do not eat any food brought to the table unless you explicitly requested it, and insist on an itemized receipt. Better yet, avoid this place entirely. I would also recommend paying cash in bars like this, just to avoid any concerns about credit card security. SCAM We ordered two Spritzes, which were served along with some appetizers we hadn't requested. They were brought to us in a bulky and awkward wooden cup holder that was left on the table, preventing us from moving. We tried to explain that it was a nuisance, but they wouldn't listen. When we asked for the bill, they presented us with a receipt with a total that didn't match our order. When we complained, they pretended not to understand, then deducted three euros from our order. Absurd!! They tried it!!! A TRUE TOURIST TRAP: rude staff with little customer service, poor food quality, and even the Spritz was too watered down. Stay away. Food: 1 Service: 1

MUCH CARE WITH THE FINAL BILL if you have a cocktail, spritz, drink... WHATEVER!!! FIRST SCAM (in Naples) MOLTA ATTENZIONE AL CONTO FINALE se prendi un cocktail, spritz, bevanda... QUALSIASI COSA!!! PRIMA TRUFFA (a Napoli) We have been in Naples for a week and it has been the first time that they blatantly ripped us off... we ordered some spritz (4) and checked the menu beforehand to see how much they cost... 6 euros according to the menu... WITHOUT ASKING FOR IT they literally offer us four tiny bowls with five olives, 15 grams of potato chips, 15 grams of bread rings (taralli) and 5 grams of peanuts in shell (maximum volume with minimal content) When paying they charge us 28 euros and when we complain they say that the “aperitivo” was charged and that THEY WERE EVEN GIVING US A DISCOUNT AS THEY SHOULD HAVE CHARGED US 12 EUROS and only charged us one (3 euros as shown on the menu) Since 6 x 4 = 24 euros + 3 euros adds up to 27, not even that minimal spontaneous math OPERATION IN THE FACE OF THE COMPLAINT for the correct price works out for them... A SHAME BECAUSE UNTIL THAT MOMENT we thought of coming back but NEVER AGAIN... WHAT YOU DO NOT ORDER AND THEY SERVE YOU IS AN OFFERING, IT SHOULD NOT BE CHARGED... Nobody asked us if we wanted it and they directly put it on the table!!! NEVER AGAIN TO AL BARETTO!!! And besides for 4 euros? IT IS NOT FAIR and you know it owners of AL Baretto!!! Siamo a Napoli da una settimana ed è stata la prima volta che ci hanno preso in giro in modo SFACCIATO... abbiamo ordinato degli spritz (4) e abbiamo guardato prima sul menù quanto costavano... 6 euro secondo il menù... SENZA AVERLO CHIESTO ci offrono letteralmente quattro ciotoline minuscole con cinque olive, 15 grammi di patatine fritte, 15 grammi di taralli e 5 grammi di arachidi con guscio (massimo volume con minimo contenuto) Al momento di pagare ci fanno pagare 28 euro e alla nostra protesta ci dicono che “l’aperitivo” era a pagamento e che CI STAVANO ANCHE FACENDO UNO SCONTO PERCHÉ AVREBBERO DOVUTO FARCI PAGARE 12 EURO e ce ne fanno pagare solo uno (3 euro come indicato sul menù) Dato che 6 x 4 = 24 euro + 3 euro fa 27, nemmeno quell’operazione matematica minima SPONTANEA DI FRONTE ALLA RECLAMAZIONE del prezzo corretto gli riesce bene... UN PECCATO PERCHÉ FINO A QUEL MOMENTO pensavamo di tornare ma MAI PIÙ... QUELLO CHE NON SI ORDINA E TI VIENE SERVITO È UN’OFFERTA, NON SI FA PAGARE... Buonasera, grazie per la recensione che ci ha inviato, ci aiuterà a migliorare. Preciso che ha pagato il conto come da listino pubblicato, con l’aggiunta di pizzette, olive, arachidi, patatine etc che avete mangiato tutto. La invito nuovamente Al Baretto sarà nostro ospite. Infine volevo complimentarmi con lei per slide pubblicate da far invidia alle migliori aziende di marketing e comunicazione Buona serata .
