I didn't expect much from this bar: it was not crowdy, nor fashionable or touristic, nor claiming to be as ancient as ice cream itself. The stronger was my surprise when I bought a gelato and carefully made my first lick. My stracciatella was one of a kind. The milky, sour, sweet and salty ingredients were perfectly blended, while bites of chocolate, like pieces of ice, were crunching on my teeth, making me feel that I would never stop eating this masterpiece. I was staying on the promenade covered with last strokes of sunlight, consumed in my consuming. For a moment, I forgot myself and met divinity face to face. They say that only after trying the stracciatella one can judge the quality of gelato. I have tried it, and I have approved it with all my heart. Price per person: €1–10

Great little place right next to the promenade. The ice cream was delicious and fairly priced, and the coffee was surprisingly good too. The staff were friendly and fast, and everything, including the toilet, was clean and well kept. Definitely a spot I’d recommend if you’re in the area.
