My wife and I found Al Chianti while visiting Rome on our honeymoon. The wait staff were extremely friendly and we loved the atmosphere. It was quiet and relaxing. We started by splitting the Tagliatelle ragú Lepre (rabbit). It was one of the best ragu pasta dishes I’ve ever had, it was meaty and the pasta was so fresh. I then had the grilled sirloin and it came out on a sizzling hot skillet, sliced and cooked to perfection. There were roasted potatoes and charred rosemary, still burning as it came to the table. My wife had the eggplant parm and she said it was one of the best she’s ever had. It was creamy inside and charred on top to add additional texture. If you’re looking for a bespoke dinner with amazing food and wine at an affordable price, go to Al Chianti Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
