I am usually very skeptical and picky about how I like my liver & onions. I ordered 2 livers & onions, mashed potatoes with chicken gravy and green beans and it was perfect! Thank youI finally found a place. The pastrami rolls and bread pudding are also great. My favorite Diner nowwith good prices and portions! One of our favorite restaurants. Great selection of menu items, including breakfast for dinner! I recommend the homemade chicken chunks, with a very light breading and the salmon patties (the Friday special). Servers are prompt and friendly. Just a reminder: they are closed on Wednesday. Usually we eat in, but the takeout service is also very good. Parking: Designated parking spots in front of the restaurant from 5-8 pm. If you are into good food fast at decent prices in a clean local mom and pop restaurant, Al Smith's Place checks those boxes. If you like schmuckers, this place has the same quality food. A bit more expensive but never had to wait for a seat. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
