where to start I had an incredible culinary experience here. Azotea specializes in nikkei cuisine, which blends japanese food with mostly peruvian and other south american influences. they offer a tasting menu but we went for the “a la carte” option instead. our super friendly waiter (wish I had asked his name) guided us on what to order so we could try a bit of everything. he nailed it. we had oysters, ceviche, empanadas, dumplings every dish was beautifully presented and they explained each one to us. cocktails were creative and tasty. the lighting, decor and tableware? so carefully chosen. soft music. and I can’t stop mentioning the menu which design was SO good. yes it’s pricey, but you’re paying for both quality and experience.
