Al Shahad is more like a café with limited indoor seating. It’s not really suitable for family dining inside, and usually I prefer taking parcel from here. Earlier, this used to be my daily go-to spot. The service was outstanding at that time. I especially want to mention one staff member, Shanawas, who was previously in this branch. His customer approach was excellent, and he handled everything very smoothly. Because of staff like him, the overall experience was much better. However, recently the service has gone down. A few days back, I ordered food and a juice, and I had to wait almost 45 minutes just for one juice. The person who took my order completely forgot about it and kept saying it was “under process.” Only after I raised my concern at the reception did they start preparing it. From my experience, it feels like they are not properly focusing on orders nowadays. Coming to the food — it’s still really good. Their porotta and porotta shawarma are totally outstanding and highly recommended. Their tea is also amazing — just make sure to ask for fresh milk and strong to get the best taste. The chikku juice shake is another must-try. I also have to highlight their biryani, which is really delicious. Overall, the food quality is good, but the customer service needs serious improvement these days.
