After watching Chiesa di S. Giovanni Battista del Gonfalone, have a meal at L'Alambicco del Presidente. According to the clients' comments, Italian dishes here are quite good. It's a pleasant experience to try good broth, risotto and spaghetti carbonara. Enjoy tasty tiramisu and good panna cotta this bar offers. This place is known for delicious cordial, wine or fino sherry. Visitors don't like coffee at L'Alambicco del Presidente.

It's easy to find this place due to its great location. The friendly staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. The fine service is a big benefit of this spot. Enjoy the homey ambiance here. This bar scored 4 in the Google rating system.

SURREAL I was there by chance on Valentine's Day with some friends I hadn't seen for a while. I booked by phone and I wasn't notified that there was a piano bar evening (for Valentine's Day it's normal, decidedly tacky but let's pretend that I wasn't notified). We introduce ourselves, they bring us the menus and we wait about 20 minutes before being able to order, too bad that when the waitress arrives she tells us that more than half of the starters on the menu were not available, while she tells us verbally that other starters were not written on the menu. menu, and this is fine too, I'm a chef by trade and I know that there can be evenings when everything goes wrong, so let's be patient and order the starters and wait. After twenty minutes the fries arrive, the other appetizers (4 supplì) will require another 15 minutes of waiting, in total the fries are cold and completely without salt, all dirty in black (this means that the oil had to be changed for a while) . And this is fine too, in the meantime, with the place half empty, we see that tables that sat down much later than us were already eating, while we continued to wait for 3 pizzas, all with the waitress continuing to pass by asking us if everything was okay but without bringing us these blessed pizzas. After another 40 minutes of waiting and various reminders to the room to receive these three pizzas, I get up to go pay and leave, but I am stopped by the waitress who tells me that the pizzas are coming out. The three pizzas arrived separately a couple of minutes apart from each other, I have to say that the dough and toppings were excellent to say the least, really delicious and far above both the starters and the service. I had ordered a pizza with anchovies, stracciatella, garlic and oregano, on the pizza the garlic (in any restaurant in Europe, and I say this because I have worked in half of Europe) is either grated or finely sliced as per the Neapolitan school, but not to the president's still, where it is put whole with all the peel with the cloves hidden under the stracciatella, so that if you are not careful and wary you can eat a healthy clove of garlic with all the peel. In the end I go to pay, offering it to my friends and feeling ashamed of having organized a reunion in such a place, and I hear the owner tell me that it is normal to put whole poached garlic cloves on the pizza because the sauté is also done Like this. I, who like an idiot work in a chain of ultra-luxury restaurants in Milan, remain silent and agree, aware that I have a lot to learn from the still of the president of Viterbo. Due to the delay I was given an 8 euro discount on a bill of 63 euros, which if there had been intellectual and professional honesty should have been canceled out with a lot of apologies. It's a shame, because the dough was really really excellent, nice hydration and a nice spread, even if irregular Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €10–20
