Went into the Albemarle Sweet Shop for the first time today. The woman who took our order was rude and seemed like she would rather be doing anything else than dealing with us as customers. As we began our order (after letting several people go in front of us because we weren't ready) the woman who was taking our order looked at another worker and rolled her eyes after I stated that we were first time customers and wanted to try a variety of their sweets. They apparently assumed we wouldn't see this, but we did. The entire time this woman took our order she barely said a word to us, and what was said was very matter-of-fact, short, and curt. I haven't even tried the sweets that we ordered, but I already know we probably won't be back. I would normally not overthink things and just conclude that maybe they're having a bad day, HOWEVER, all those customers I let go ahead of me were treated so kindly which was a major shift from what I experienced.
