Walked into Alberto’s last Friday due to the high Google rating and the menus displayed outside. The overall interior and design of the restaurant were nice. We received the menus and ordered a bottle of wine — which, to be fair, was very good. We ordered food: two mixed charcuterie starters and three main courses. Mixed charcuterie and cheese: We were promised Parmigiano but received a local cheese instead. The cold cuts were alright, but nothing special. Then the mains THREE BIG DISAPPOINTMENTS. No flavor, no execution, no finesse. The spinach pasta — oufff. The osso buco — a big no-no. And finally the ragù: completely tasteless, and the presentation was so poor it looked like my six-year-old at home could have done a better job. Please note that this is probably my first review in many, many years. The experience was simply so bad that I felt compelled to write one. The ratings for this place are very far from reality. Overall, this restaurant has a great location and great design, but the food is far below average.
