I’ve been to this restaurant twice. It’s one of the oldest and most traditional restaurants in Tehran, and many longtime locals know it well. Overall, the atmosphere was pleasant. They usually have a pianist performing nostalgic pop and classical pieces, which adds a nice touch to the experience. There is also a self-service salad and side dish bar, which was decent. The food quality, however, is truly excellent — especially the kabab barg. I also really enjoyed their barberry juice. The prices are on the higher side, but the quality and overall experience make it understandable. Price per person: IRR 2–3m Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

In one word: OVERRATED. The prices simply don't make sense. There are many kebab flag restaurants in the city that offer much better quality for 30% less money. I had heard a lot about Alborz and wanted to try it at least once. The waitresses give the impression that tips are expected, which is not very common here. We tried the Koobideh and the Barg (lamb fillet). Both were very ordinary. They even charged us for a small portion of tahdig, which cost more than a portion of rice. With these prices, you expect to receive something special, either exceptional food, outstanding service, or a unique atmosphere. Unfortunately, none of these were present. I visited several months ago, and the prices shown on my receipt were lower than the current prices. Please pay attention to the date on the receipt when comparing prices.
