(visits: +5) This place is not bad at all, in fact it's great, but for 5000 yen a person I expect it to be perfect. Service is a tad slow. Much of the time it's just a wife and husband team. It's a small place so it's somewhat understable, and might not bother everyone. But it took nearly 15 minutes just to get our first course. The food is great (just not 5000 yen perfect). They have a consistent menu that doesn't change. Some people might like this, some people might want some rotation of items, if so you will probably like Chez Pinoli, but I like the consistent menu of Alchemist. The wine menu is very extensive. The draft beer is a sweet German (?) wheat ale. The dinner menu has lots of options and we always leave full. Lunch is about half price and iirc about half the menu options. The view used to be amazing out the front window but sadly they built some massive senior citizen center a couple years back obstructing the view.
