There are many wonderful memories here... And the renovation has restored the building to its former glory! The current owner has turned it into a beautiful property with very nice, cozy rooms with showers. The communal toilets were super clean and sufficiently available. The party he had here was fantastic. The food was superb, the staff friendly and the host perfect. Absolutely recommended to party and/or sleep here. Rooms: Neat, cozy rooms that are well insulated. Nicely maintained with a private shower. Walkability: A stone's throw from the center of Venlo. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Romantic, Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value

Are you looking for an honest review of Ald Weishoes in Venlo? Let me save you some trouble. My recent experience was far from pleasant. No toilets in the rooms, cramped spaces without windows, showers right next to your bed, and the cheapest, uncomfortable mattresses. To top it off, they don't provide breakfast or even a simple possibility to make your own coffee or tea. To show their lack of care, the restaurant kitchen was closed and they wouldn't even allow guests to eat take away food at their tables. Save yourself the disappointment. Choose another option in Venlo, even if it's a no-frills hostel. Don't make the mistake I did. Service: 1
