Absolutely love Alder! All the staff and menu items are top-notch. Zoe did an excellent job last night and would come back for the service alone! Would highly recommend the cucumber salad, bread and butter, and steak and frites! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $80–90

I love coming here for date night especially, but it's also a great spot for guests from out of town if we're looking for a nice brunch or dinner. Service has always been exceptional, the food is always lovely, and the architecture is really nice too. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $90–100

Great experience. For apps, we had the tomato salad and the hamachi. Both were terrific, the hamachi had a nice blend of smokiness and spice from the peppers and the salad was super fresh. For mains, we had the octopus, the branzino and the half chicken and all three were great. The octopus was a particular highlight, and the char from being cooked in a wood oven was amazing. We shared a bottle of Louis Roederer Champagne Collection, which was a great pairing for the seafood/fish, and excellent value. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $100+ Recommended dishes: Grilled Octopus, Hamachi Crudo
