Excellent breakfast and conversation with the staff. Our server gave us restaurant recommendations which we appreciated. My partner and I were very pleased with our experience.

The chefs know their stuff and experiment with how to bring out otherwise subtle flavors with ingredients that pop. People come from far and wide for the 'toasted' cheesecake. It's phenomenal. But their capability to make flavorful entrees and desserts goes far beyond the popular cheesecake! Also, the coffee was top notch and the chef had details on its origin - someone who knows their coffee wins in my book! Owned by the same folks who have Lorea fine dining upstairs.

As a repeated offender of indulging in hedonistic pleasures in Mexico City, this is my secret go-to for a late breakfast. Calm, cute, and ever so subtly calculating, Aleli takes great care in preparing a meal while you plan the rest of the day in the city. Great for a get together with friends or lonely meal with a newspaper, it is the oasis that I long for when I'm half way across the world. The staff speaks many languages and are truly sincere in what dishes they think are best suited for you. Everything is delicious. You can't go wrong.
