Tried the Ramadan combo at Aleppo Shawarma & Donair and honestly it was For $20 you get chicken skewer, kofta skewer, mini shawarma wrap, rice, samosa, meat pie, dates, sauces and a drink — the portion is big and everything tasted fresh. The meat was juicy, good charcoal flavor, and the garlic sauce was really good (not too heavy). Perfect meal for iftar — you can actually share it or save some for later because it’s a lot of food. Service was fast and the food came hot. Definitely worth the price. I’ll be coming back again. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Second time coming to this place - experience: underwhelming. Came with my son to grab a donair platter and a donair wrap, we were the only people there and there were 2 employees preparing our food. Asked for side garlic sauce to the one employee serving the platter and instead was given sweet sauce. The donair was never grilled or at least warm up. Once they gave me the bag with the food it was cold to the touch. Came home (5 min away) and had to put the food in the microwave to make it edible. As another comment said: no pita bread to accompany the platter - as they do in all other decent shawarma and donair restaurants. (And there is not excuse of rush order, as we were in the restaurant the only patrons they were serving) - also the hummus has a weird liquidy texture and the flavour wasn’t there. Conclusion: if you are going to spend between 35-40 in a meal; there is plenty of DECENT restaurants that are mindful of what they are serving and there is not compromise on the flavour or quality of the food. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

Thank you for your feedback but I remember you, cause I served you the platter and given the garlic sauce which you asked but didn’t paid for ! The wrap was grilled in front of you and wrapped with foil paper to keep it warm which you lied… so I have doubt about your taste cause you said garlic sauce you asked but given sweet sauce. So the real news is you have made a fake review. Lastly, please don’t loose your hope come visit us we will try to solve the issue…
