I love sitting in the garden. Especially when local musicians are performing, jamming or rehearsing.I love that I can sit on a rock and listen and watch. I love that I can stay as long as I like. I love that I can write while I am watching and listening. I love that I occasionally see a friend or acquaintance and sometimes get a smile, a 'how are you' and sometimes a hug. Aleta's nourishes my body and my soul. I don't go often for financial reasons. When I do go it is in the Spring,Summer and Fall. When I get lucky, I find the Gin-soaked Angels there or some other of my friends who are rehearsing or setting up or performing their music. I'll be back when the weather is warmer.

Two bites in, I stopped everything to write this review, because Aleta's Cafe is AMAZING!!!! Stop what you're doing, go to Yellow Springs, find parking and walk into this restaurant. I got the pork tacos, and this dish is unbelievably delicious. Perfectly seasoned, juicy, and a really big portion, too. We talked with the owner, Greg, and his wife - great folks! They grow a fair portion of the vegetables they use in the restaurant themselves!! Garden to table!!! The best. Naan pizzas are great - my son LOVED his hummus Sammie. You owe it to yourself to come here.
