Cooks at this steakhouse do their best to provide guests with tasty cheese salads, crabs and clam chowder. You will hardly forget delicious coffee or great juice that you can degust. Choose between indoor and outdoor seating. The courteous staff welcomes visitors all year round. Good service is something clients like here. Prices at Alexander's Restaurant & Lounge are worth attention because they're attractive. You will certainly appreciate the lovely atmosphere. This place is rated on Google 4.5 by its visitors.

Room came with great local beers, which were excellent and the staff was extremely friendly and the service is fine. The first night my wife and I split fish and chips. I wouldn’t say burnt but close to it. Second night I had a chicken sandwich. The vegetables were fresh, but the chicken was very much overcooked. Our best meal should not be the In-N-Out we got down the street. Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 2

Closing at 10 pm, "Alexander" is the last real restaurant, not a snack bar, open in Ventura in the evening. And it certainly does the town and the adjoining Four Points Hotel proud. The welcome is warm, the prices reasonable, and the dishes are tasty and generous. Admittedly, the beautiful dining room designed by Frank Lloyd Wright is closed in the evening, but the pub-like atmosphere, shared with the hotel's grand lobby, is lively without being unpleasant. Indeed, the clam chowder is a must-try, they have local fish, of course, and the desserts are excellent. We returned the next day for breakfast, this time in the main dining room. Everything was highly recommended. I would definitely go back. - Fermant a 22h, l’ “Alexander” est le dernier veritable restaurant, et non un snack, ouvert le soir à Ventura. Et on peux dire qu’il fait honneur à la ville et à l’hôtel Four Points attenant. L’accueil y est chaleureux, les prix contenus et les plats savoureux et en bonne quantité. Certes, le soir, la belle salle dessinée par le studio Frank Lloyd Wright est fermée, mais l’ambiance pub, partagée avec le grand hall de l’hôtel est animée sans être désagréable. Effectivement, la chaudrée de palourdes (clam chowder) est un must, il y a du poisson local et les desserts sont excellents. Nous y sommes retournés le lendemain pour le petit-déjeuner, cette fois dans la grande salle. Tout y était recommandable. J’y retournerai sans hésiter. Beware: the main dining room is closed for dinner. You have to eat in the bar across the lobby, an uninviting venue with plain tables and large screen televisions showing sports. My wife had the ribeye steak which was good. I ordered the beef short ribs but what arrived was 4 slices of well-done boiled beef; definitely not short ribs. The accompaning mashed potatoes and vegetables were ordinary, not much flavor. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1
