See Saigu Shrine and come to this restaurant. Trying nicely cooked yakitori chicken, chicken skewers and gyoza is what a number of clients recommend. Delicious beer is among the best drinks to order.

A hidden gem and an absolute MUST try. The best Yakitori I've had so far in Japan. Loved the red sparkles infused into the dining area/walls and the music was also very groovy and added good vibes to the experience. My girlfriend and I especially liked the edamame and fried rice balls! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

As a solo diner, I had a wonderful time here. The atmosphere is perfect, the food exceeded my expectations, and there was a good selection of drinks (and whiskey). Can’t recommend this hidden gem enough. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: ¥5,000–6,000

This is a Korean couple who visited on January 5, 2023! During my 6 nights and 7 days trip to Kyoto, the time I spent at Alibaba was the happiest time! This is the place that comes to mind first when I remember my trip to Kyoto I ate various parts of yakitori and it was really delicious. All the other snacks were delicious. I think the owner's skills are great! The snacks were so delicious that I ate and drank until my stomach was full. When I visited, there was no Korean menu, but I understood and ordered thanks to Papago and the owner's friendly explanation! The interior is also cool~~ I feel like Alibaba has entered a cave where 40 thieves live! And above all, the owner is so nice and kind!! We visited for dinner and stayed for a long time, and had a great time watching Netflix with the owner and talking about the Korean/Japanese movies/drama we both watched :) I heard you like actress Kim Hye-soo, and the owner is like an actress too. She's so cool~~ !! It's a bit far from the tourist spots, but if you go to Kyoto, be sure to visit! It's a good idea to travel to Alibaba and move to New Year's Eve.
