The couple are so nice providing great food and packed lunches for the boat rides. The man has very good English. But, their next door neighbor food place, upper the road with a big Beerlao sign, is a horrible place where I had my dinner. The fish dish I ordered is rotten and I have to leave it. So avoid that place at all cost. Price per person: ₭200–250K Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Alisa makes the tastiest mango sticky rice (best in Lao and even better than in Thailand)! We also enjoyed her fried bamboo and fried chicken rice. They're super friendly, always welcoming, and very lovely. Highly recommend! Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
