Alkoot Café is one of my favorite spots in Souq Waqif when I want to relax and enjoy good food in a beautiful atmosphere. The location is perfect — right in the heart of the Souq — so you can sit outside, enjoy your coffee, and watch the lively surroundings while still feeling comfortable and relaxed. The food is fresh and flavorful, with great breakfast options and Mediterranean dishes. The coffee is also very good — perfect for a morning start or an afternoon break after walking around the market. The portions are satisfying, and everything is nicely presented. What truly makes the experience even better is the staff — they are very pleasant, welcoming, and amazing. Their friendly attitude and attentive service make you feel comfortable and appreciated. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, especially in the evening when the Souq is full of energy. It can get quite busy, which shows how popular it is, but that also adds to the vibrant vibe.
