Very easy to find, roadside on the main thoroughfare, this is a real gem and I recommend it, even though it could stand a couple of small improvements. The atmosphere is spectacular: right alongside a beautiful rushing trout stream, nestled between the mountains and surrounded by trees. It's the kind of summer outdoor dining experience dreams are made of. Oh and the parking is plentiful too. The pasta dishes are the real highlight, and they divide their pasta menu into two parts: pastas made in house versus those purchased from outside. The sauces are made to perfection. Besides the unusual fact that they have an elaborate German beer menu and a short but distinguished wine list, the remainder of this dining experience is fairly typical for the area: bread but no olive oil or balsamic vinegar is brought to your table, the meats are overcooked, and for some reason they don't serve local garden-grown tomatoes in the summer even though they are in great (and cheap) abundance in this area. Overall, a very pleasant place for dinner with just a few areas that need attention. Prices are quite reasonable.
