The food is good but not great. As for the first courses, a classic cacio e pepe done quite well. Good Roman artichokes but lamb a little dry, probably reheated. You spend at least 20 euros per person for an appetizer, a dish and water. In Rome it is better to eat somewhere else among the actual Romans, the managers and staff of the Allegro Pachino are foreigners and although they recognize their efforts, they are certainly not enough.

Very good value for money, and more taking into account its central location and close to the Trevi Fountain.

We stopped for a beer here on Saturday before continuing our walk from the Trevi to the Spanish steps. Because of the ambience and lovely staff we took the decision later that afternoon to return. After a few more beers and a chilled afternoon we also had a meal there. The food was gorgeous and the people that work there are really lovely. My friend Philippa and I will be recommending the Osteria Allegro Pachino to all our friends coming to Roma later this year and can't wait to go back when we return for another visit.
