Genuinely, the best fish and chips in Seaton Carew. Tried them all and wholeheartedly this is the tastiest one and value for money. Well done. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Order type: Takeaway Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £1–10

I am really losing faith in The Almighty Cod , last time the fish and chips were dried out , but I decided to give it another go . I went a teatime, and neither the fish or chips were cooked ready, despite several people in the shop . I think I will be using Fish Face or Surfside from now on .

Just been to Almighty Cod tonight ( 09/04/2023 at 6pm .. Often use Almighty Cod because in my opinion for consistency its best in Hartlepool, but tonight " Not The Case " .. Both the batter and the fish hard and dried out, obviously been under the heat display counter for quite some time ... Bad enough having batter hard and dried out, but the fish as well !! Yet the second piece of fish was beautiful .. Just goes to show how much they really value their customers and care about quality of product .. What has been a well used shop, for me to use, even though its at the other side of town. Product so bad today, l will be looking for a alternative place to buy from. At the very least, it will be a very long time for me go back, if at all !!!
