Such a cute little spot located in a little plaza so there is plenty of parking. We stopped in after discovering them at a Yelp event and loved it! We visited on a Sunday afternoon and staff was very friendly. There are a couple tables inside to eat, otherwise this is a very easy to-go establishment too. Everything is reasonable priced as well. One thing I love about Filipino food is the pack of flavor the food brings, especially addition of vinegar-based sauces and Almuchow was no different! We ordered: + Tapsilog - the eggs had a slightly runny yolk, nice flavor in the garlic rice, and the meat was tender. I love the bit of friend garlic on top. + Pinakbet with Bagnet - generous portion of pork belly that was cut into the right bite size pieces. Also came with squad, green beans and bitter melon. Sauce consistency was a little thinner but the flavor was there. + Pork Isaw - comes with about 5 skewers of grilled large intestine pieces. The glaze was sweet to cut the fattiness and was delicious to us! + Calamansi Juice - very refreshing! Perfect for a hot day. Their sign inside "Good Food is Good Mood" definitely rings true here!

This restaurant is okay if we talked about the taste of their food. What frustrates me is that every time I ordered thru Uber eats and add comments for my order, they never followed whats my instructions are. It is ridiculous, i am not sure if they see the comments when you use UberEats or they just ignore or don’t pay attention to customers instructions about their order. The establishment is okay for dine in or take out orders but If you going to use app delivery services like uber or doordash etc. well, think multiple times or you will regret it you will lose you appetite to eat your order since instructions for your order were not followed accordingly! Service: Delivery Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $50–100

It was a 20+ minute drive on a Saturday morning getting there but it was worth it. I called my order in so it was ready when I got there. The staff member at the register might've been the same as on the phone that kindly took my order, they were very pleasant in person as well. I loved both orders I got: lumpiang Shanghai and tapsilog. Both were very authentic and tasted like home :) I just found out too that they're opening up a mini branch at Blossom Market in San Gabriel. Perfect for us on the west side of SGV. I can't wait!
