The menu of German cuisine under the direction of the popular chef is great here. The recipe for success of this restaurant is its nicely cooked goulash, german sausages and choucroute. Here you will be offered tasty strudels, flija and gelato. Clients visit Alpenhaus to taste delicious draft beer or good cordial. You will be offered good cortado.

A number of visitors find the staff cool. The spectacular service is something these restaurateurs care about. This place provides you with a great choice of dishes at adequate prices. The fancy decor and charming ambiance let guests feel relaxed here. 4.2 is what this spot received from the Google rating system.

We came for lunch. A lovely spot along a quiet little river. The food was excellent and our server was friendly. This is heaven. I do think it's worth pointing out the prices. In my opinion they are not completely fair. $23.000 for a bowl of borscht, which is made from cabbage, potatoes, and a bit of cream, cannot possibly be justified. In Davos, I have found it for half the price. $26.000 for sausages and sauerkraut. The response will be that they are in the middle of the Delta and doing business in their region is tough, ingredients are expensive, and they are making everything from scratch. These types of experiences can be found in remote areas, such as at a Relais & Chateau, which are all privately owned and often face the same challenges. However in these truly gourmet settings, one finds wooden chairs and tables, rather than plastic. A menu printed on nice paper, rather than a laminated one with half the prices missing or erased, and a decent wine menu (rather than offering a single option for white on a hot and sunny Saturday). It was a memorable afternoon. But it's also worth letting others know about the prices and I hope the owners take an honest look at what they are charging and ask themselves whether or not they are overvalued by roughly 30%. To sustain these prices, they must convert into something more elegant. If they decide to go in the direction of elegance, they should consider looking at some remote hotels in Argentina such as Colibrí or Llao Llao to see how it's done for the same prices bring charged at Alpenhaus. But this is not that type of place. Nor should they try to be if they don't want to. However, they need a reality check. Price accordingly. $4.500 each for table service is excessive. As of last night, Don Julio charged $1.125 per person. We tipped the server 10% on top of the bill. The owner is defensive in her responses to Google reviews. But for once, she may consider actually taking constructive criticism into account and realizing that people are aware of what's going on here. Service: 5

Hi. Thank you for your visit and review. We are glad than our place was fine for you. The Delta Is an unique place with an incredible nature but we can have offen high water, so sometimes we can not work with the tourism. The only possibbility ist have plastic chairs and tables. In the first floor we have wooden tables and chairs and german austrian chops and decoration. Our place is not massive to visit but with most peace and green nature all the year.

We spent a weekend at the Alpenhaus to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Tigre Delta. Our stay was comfortable and the food (main courses and delicious dessert) is typically German/Austrian. In a nutshell: European hospitality with Argentine friendliness. We recommend. See you next time. Rooms: Very cozy Food & drinks: The goulash and apple strudel are particularly recommended Noteworthy details: Particularly beautiful nature Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Romantic
