This was the very first kafejnīca I ever visited in Latvia; 10 years back, and after many years it still holds a special place for me. I came here many times back then, and after almost 8 years I finally returned and amazingly, nothing has changed. The food is still some of the best I’ve had, especially the kijevas kotlete and the mushroom sauce — absolutely incredible and full of flavor. What truly makes this place stand out is the wonderful, kind lady who runs everything on her own. She’s warm, caring, and clearly puts her heart into the food, keeping the quality high and the prices fair. This kafejnīca feels authentic, honest, and timeless.
