We were hunting for an ATM machine while needing a shot of caffeine. That’s how we came upon this quaint little coffee shop wonder. Once in alt. Coffee Roasters, you’ll find a kind host that will craft a perfect coffee or tea beverage. Yes, the coffee beans are roasted on site! The food is original, creative and delicious! Be patient waiting for your coffee and food, all are prepared by hand and worth the wait. You’ll find quality gifts in the shop as well. Nice to peruse especially if you’re traveling and looking to bring back a memory from Kyoto. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Lovely little cafe tucked away in the streets of Nijo - we were pleasantly surprised to find out they are all vegan as well! The vegan hot dogs are really tasty and creative and we loved the hojicha snowball cookies Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
